Yarshagumba is a unique fungus that grows on larvae.
Mycelium develops inside the larva and absorbs nutrients from the larva.
When the larva dies, a dark brown reproductive part with a length of 5 to 8 cm gradually grows from the larva’s head and appears.
This mysterious mycelial fungus and larvae inhabit only the Himalayan grasslands at altitudes of 4200-5000 meters from eastern to western Nepal.
In the western part of the Himalayas in Nepal, many people come all the way to collect this valuable item.
The name of this mycelium and larva is
also called Cordyceps sinensis.
The harvest time is late May.
However, unfortunately, the harvest period is as short as about 15 to 20 days, so
it is possible to collect only small amounts and the commercial value is very high.
As for the efficacy of Cordyceps sinensis, it is also used as the finest supplement in Nepal because
it increases energy charges when it enters the human body, is optimal for recovery from fatigue,
and has the effect of strengthening memory and blood circulation of the body
